Who seem to appears like a goddess? It’s Vidya Balan versus Priyanka Chopra for the part of Goddess Parvati in the movie adaptation of the celebrated novel The Immortals Of Meluha. A buzz is that Karan Johar is eager to rope in Vidya Balan for the part, but the actor Hrithik Roshan, who will be seen as Lord Shiva in the film, is actually apparently more interested in Priyanka Chopra for the role of Parvati.
Following obtaining the proper rights of the book The Immortals Of Meluha, authored by Amish Tripathi, Karan Johar zeroed in on Hrithik Roshan to play Lord Shiva. However, an official statement about the same is still to be made. Right now, the discussion is actually that Karan Johar is desperate to have Vidya Balan as Parvati. Karan was mighty amazed with the actress after watching her in The Dirty Picture and Kahaani, and then thinks she fits ideal the role of a goddess. Karan may have envisioned Hrithik and Vidya collectively, but a question looms if the audiences will like the pairing.
It’s learnt that Hrithik Roshan has a personal preference towards Priyanka Chopra to be cast as Parvati. The actor worked with her in Agneepath and it is shooting along with the actress for Krrish 3. Moreover, Hrithik and Priyanka appear good together on big screen, and this would likely add to the USP of the film.
